We are looking for experienced NHSBSP Mammographers to join our small and friendly team to support weekend cover. After a departmental induction, you will be expected to work either at our screening centre in Reading, or on one of our Breast Screening Vans which are currently located in Henley on Thames and Wokingham.
Our working hours in each location are 8am-4.30pm with an hour for lunch and both vans have new Siemens Revelation units, and we expect to see up to 50 patients per session.
This role would suit someone already working within the BSP and looking for additional hours in a flexible capacity which weekend working would provide. We also have additional hours available Monday-Friday.

* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing Screening and Symptomatic mammography including tomosynthesis, biopsy, VAB, VAE and localisation including Magseed.
* In the absence of a Radiologist use experience and judgement of previous cases to take further images to demonstrate an area of abnormality.

* You will be required to work within the Radiology Department, the Breast Screening Unit and on the community based Mobile Screening Unit(s).
