Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while adhering to Accor brand standards and managing various administrative tasks. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software are essential.
Responsibilities
1. Greet and welcome visitors warmly and professionally.
2. Answer and direct phone calls with excellent etiquette.
3. Be fully aware of hotel events and activities.
4. Manage correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
5. Monitor VIP, disabled, early/late arrivals/departures, and previous guest complaints to ensure proper care.
6. Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room inventory, late departures, extended stays, and room changes.
7. Update and maintain guest profiles, complete registration cards, and ensure accuracy.
8. Prepare bills and process payments upon guest check-out, ensuring all documentation is complete.
9. Follow up on payment issues and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
10. Maintain balanced floats and perform banking procedures as per hotel policies.
11. Adhere to hotel policies regarding cash handling and security.
12. Understand and execute reservation procedures, including over the phone, email, or walk-ins.
13. Answer external calls and direct them appropriately.
Requirements
1. Experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
3. Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Friendly and professional demeanor.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential.
