Your role
AtkinsRealis offers you the chance to work on exciting projects with a network of creative professionals. The role is ideal for those who want to take ownership of projects in a leading capacity and thrive in a multi‑disciplinary, client‑facing environment.
About You
* RIBA Part 3 qualification and ARB registration with 5–10 years’ experience on complex projects at various stages and a solid grasp of UK Building Regulations.
* Experience across sectors, working directly with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to deliver projects from concept to detail design, including key details and completion.
* Knowledge of building regulations, UK Building Systems, and construction types for compliance.
* Consistent delivery of projects of varying sizes, with accuracy and stakeholder collaboration.
* Responsibility over specific project packages or areas, understanding budgets and learning project finances.
* Part‑time mentoring of junior staff in Parts 1/2 and coaching to improve design quality.
* Strong interpersonal skills, organised, efficient, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
* Support for studio development, daily management, and nurturing design culture in the Newcastle studio.
* Positive, self‑motivated, team‑player attitude with flexibility and can‑do spirit.
