The Junior School is currently recruiting for an Admissions Coordinator to join the Admissions Department on a full-time, permanent basis. The position will start on 13 August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with 45 minutes unpaid for lunch, totaling a 36.25-hour paid work week. The Admissions Coordinator will be placed on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scale H, ranging from £33,021 to £35,427 per annum. Remuneration depends on skills and experience.
The purpose of the Admissions Coordinator is to manage the Admissions processes within the Junior School. Key duties include handling applications, maintaining and updating pupil databases, and overseeing administration related to transitions within the school, such as Nursery to P1 and entrance into each year group.
The ideal candidate will be a kind, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who is organized, efficient, and a team player. They should have experience working in a busy office environment, database management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with excellent communication skills.
