Head Chef - Bolton
Salary: £30,000
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 2.30pm
Dine has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to join our catering team in Bolton. If you're a creative culinary professional with strong leadership and a love for food, this is your chance to shine!
This is a hands-on cooking role responsible for delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced workplace environment with a weekday-only service (no weekends or Christmas working!).
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure meals are nutritious, tasty, and prepared using the recipe database
* Work only with nominated suppliers and store ingredients appropriately
* Apply daily company financial controls
* Monitor portion sizes, reduce waste, and ensure accurate transaction recording
* Guarantee food is fresh and ready for all service times
* Propose service improvements and support the Manager in enhancing customer experience
* Support training and development of team members alongside the Manager
* Maintain high hygiene standards, ensure PPE usage, and keep logs and records up to date
* Report incidents, equipment failures, and ensure allergen info is provided daily
* Label and present food to brand standards, complete required training, and ensure team compliance
We're looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about food and up to date with culinary trends
* Holds a culinary qualification
* Has strong knowledge of GP, menu planning, kitchen management, and ordering
* Can lead by example in a kitchen environment
* Understands food hygiene and safety regulations
