Role purpose
We are recruiting a Project Engineer for the Northern region of the UK. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing projects to ensure the installation and commissioning of our electrical and healthcare products into customer environments. This is a technical project management role that requires knowledge of electrical systems and a desire to develop detailed knowledge of our products and how they meet customers’ needs.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth and accurate installation of equipment into customer accounts and complete all post‑project documentation.
* Regular communication with internal and external sales teams to capture all technical aspects across schemes.
* Attend site meetings to represent Bender UK before, during and after project completion.
* Evaluate, organise and prioritise work within the project schedule.
* Support the Bender UK Sales Team with technical advice and information by email, telephone or in person when a site visit is required.
* Maintain regular communication with the Head Office in Germany; first and second level support may be required.
* Coordinate with all parties in the Bender supply chain to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
* Understand and use the company CRM system to deliver projects for BUK.
* Produce technical drawings and information essential to the smooth running of BUK projects.
* Produce RAMS for on-site work.
Experience & qualifications
* Recognised Electrical apprenticeship NVQ3, ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
* Knowledge of medical clinical equipment or industrial sector would be advantageous.
* Experience using AutoCAD drawing packages would be advantageous.
* Experience working with Design and/or Quality teams would be advantageous.
