Tenancy Sustainment Officer
Location: Cannock & Lichfield – 30 hours per week; Tamworth – 22.5 hours per week.
Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for the Tenancy Sustainment Officer role within community mental health teams covering Cannock & Tamworth.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist tenancy‑related support to vulnerable people at risk of homelessness.
* Work with individuals with complex mental health needs to live independently and remain in their own home.
* Act as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords, answering queries and troubleshooting issues throughout tenancy life.
* Act as the conduit between MPFT mental health services and local authorities.
* Assist in delivering high‑standard support to service users identified as vulnerable and at risk of losing their home.
* Collaborate with external agencies to support service users in maintaining independence within their preferred place of residency in the independent and non‑statutory sector.
