Job Description
The Training and Development Centre (TDC) Administrator plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning and development initiatives across the business. This role ensures the smooth running of all training programmes, accurate maintenance of training records, and a seamless experience for employees engaging in learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination & Support
* Act as the first point of contact for employee queries relating to training, course bookings, and compliance requirements.
* Monitor and respond to the shared TDC inbox daily.
* Maintain and update the shared TDC training schedule.
* Produce and distribute a weekly training calendar outlining all scheduled courses for the next three weeks.
* Issue onboarding materials and training/joining instructions for both new starters and existing employees.
* Liaise with TDC and onsite trainers to ensure all course paperwork is prepared and issued ahead of delivery.
* Assist in managing client authorisation databases and booking relevant authorisation courses.
* Support employees and new starters in accessing and completing online courses using training laptops or tablets.
Training Records & Compliance
* Maintain accurate training records, including course paperwork, attendance logs, certificates, and other documentation.
* Support the preparation of training activity reports, including participation and outcomes.
* Track employee training completion and follow up on outstanding mandatory learning.
* Record and monitor employee and new starter feedback, escalating themes or issues to the TDC Manager.
* Support with queries relating to invoicing for external training bookings.
* Maintain records of toolbox talks.
Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
* Demonstrable experience in an administrative role.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Good understanding of office administration processes and practices.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office and wider IT software.
* Educated to Standard Grade/GCSE level (or equivalent).
Desirable
* Administrative experience within a training or learning and development environment.
* Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.

* Effective time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in record keeping.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
