Science Laboratory Technician – Biology & Physics
37 Hours per week (3 days Biology, 2 Days Physics) – TTO + 1 week holiday working.
Salary: Grade 4 points 6 - 8, £25,989 – £26,82
Actual pro-rata salary: £22,329 - £23,046
Chosen Hill School would like to appoint a Laboratory Technician to provide technical support to the Biology and Physics department within the science faculty. Previous experience of working in a school laboratory environment would be advantageous and an A level (or equivalent) in Biology and Physics is a requirement.
The Science Technicians play a key role in the success of the Science department, and you will be a member of a team of five technicians who support all aspects of the science curriculum from KS3 to KS5. The ability to work well in a team as well as be self-motivating is a requirement.

It is a large, popular and successful 11-18 Academy School situated in Churchdown halfway between Cheltenham and Gloucester. We have around 1300 students on roll, of which 200 are in the Sixth Form.
