We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Care Worker to join our team supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs in an Ofsted-registered children’s home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in keeping young people safe, supported, and cared for throughout the night.
HOURS OF WORK:
40 hour contract per week.
Monday - Sunday 4 on 4 off.
10pm-8am
Working 4 nights on and 4 nights off. The following is with arrangement with the registered manager.
Your role:
Stay awake overnight to ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people
* Provide support if they are distressed or unwell
* Help maintain a calm, safe, clean and homely environment
* Complete accurate records and handovers
* Support morning routines to prepare young people for the day
About you:
* Passionate about working with young people
* Calm, resilient and able to manage challenging situations
* A strong team player with good communication skills
* Committed to safeguarding and providing high-quality care
* Holds a full UK driving licence
