We have a rare and exciting opportunity for to join our team on secondment OR a fixed term basis as a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner/Case Manager
We cover the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about improving services for those experiencing a first episode of psychosis aged 14-65. This is an opportunity to become a part of a highly skilled and experienced team delivering interventions to those people experiencing a first episode onset of psychosis.
Previous experience of working with Psychosis in Early Intervention teams would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will be work alongside a dedicated group of clinicians who hold the service user, family, carers and social recovery at the centre of all that they do whilst being guided by National Standards to deliver timely and evidenced based interventions.
A core qualification is required, you might be a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist. We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience in delivering physical health interventions, such as phlebotomy and depot injections, for the skill mix of our team.
Phone calls, teams calls or visits to meet the team and manager are welcomed and encouraged.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the care coordination of a caseload of people, working alongside the current MDT to deliver NICE concordant care.

Qualification
Essential criteria
* Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology or equivalent
* Student nurse supervisor/assessor training or willingness to train
Experience
Essential criteria
* Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
* Minimum of a year post-qualification experience
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working within an EI team
* Previous experience of working with people experiencing psychosis
* Previous experience of working in the community
* Previous experience of case management
