They have a busy summer trade and hold BBQs and Hog Roasts as well as catering for functions throughout the year All dishes are freshly prepared on site using quality, fresh ingredients. The kitchen makes everything from scratch including its own bread, soups, sauces, burgers and more — with a strong focus on fresh game and meats. This is a genuine fresh-food operation. The Team You will be joining a talented, stable and supportive brigade of chefs and kitchen porters. The Role We are looking for a strong Sous Chef with a genuine passion for fresh food and the confidence to contribute ideas to the menu. You will work closely with the long-standing Head Chef to maintain standards and help drive the kitchen forward. Requirements Experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food pub or similar environment Strong knife skills Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen Passion for quality, seasonal produce A creative mindset with ideas to contribute and implement Own transport is essential Hours & Shifts 5/7 days per week with two consecutive days off per week Salary £38,000 per annum No live-in accommodation available currently This is a superb opportunity for a motivated Sous Chef looking to join a thriving country pub with a loyal customer base and a great team culture.
