Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Technician to support our slipform operations by producing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and construction details. The successful candidate will work closely with rig drivers, project managers, and site teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with Slipform Technology’s methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for slipform projects
* Prepare detailed formwork and construction layout drawings
* Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and site requirements
* Liaise with engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design issues
* Update drawings to reflect as-built conditions and site changes
* Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed
* Support tender and pre-construction design work when required
* Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and relevant codes
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an AutoCAD Technician, ideally within concrete, civil, or structural construction
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D advantageous)
* Experience with slipform, formwork, reinforced concrete, or infrastructure projects (highly desirable)
* Ability to read and understand structural and civil engineering drawings
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
* Ability to manage multiple drawings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with Revit, BIM, or other CAD/BIM software
* Understanding of slipform construction sequences and methodologies
* Previous site-based experience or site coordination exposure
