Town Ranger / Street CleansingLocation: Wellington, TauntonHourly rate: £12.21 per hourContract type: Temporary, 3 Months with possibility of extension. Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday 07:30-15:30 and Friday 07:30-15:00.Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a Town Ranger to help keep Wellington clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the town team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.Requirements
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day
* Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
* Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively
* Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
* Full driving licence
