Support Worker - CAMHS CORE Pathway
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and creative Support Worker to work in our CAMHS CORE Pathway.
Our team is multidisciplinary, offering approaches including Family Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social Work, and Mental Health Practitioners. We work with young people experiencing moderate to severe emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. We value service user participation and feedback as essential to developing person-centred and inclusive services.
This position is advertised as full-time, but part-time hours may also be considered.
Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working with young people accessing our CAMHS (Core) Mental Health service. You should have a positive approach to care delivery, working creatively and flexibly in partnership with young people, their families, and professional networks. Your role will involve delivering high-quality care that empowers children and young people, supports their recovery, and involves them in service development and care planning.
You will work within a clinical setting at our outpatient clinic and also support children and young people in home, educational, or community settings.
You will have access to regular clinical supervision, CPD opportunities, and support from a supportive multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you will contribute to research, evaluation, and service development to ensure responsive, effective, and equitable care.
