You will take ownership of a general needs housing patch, managing the full spectrum of tenancy and estate responsibilities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly adapt, build strong relationships with residents, and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
* Manage a general needs housing patch with full accountability
* Deliver end-to-end tenancy management, including rent collection, ASB cases, and estate management
* Lead on rent collection and arrears recovery, driving performance outcomes
* Carry out home visits and build strong tenant relationships
* Conduct estate inspections and maintain high neighbourhood standards
* Enforce tenancy agreements, addressing breaches professionally and consistently
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to support service delivery
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Housing Officer or in a Tenancy Management role
* Strong background in rent collection and arrears management
* Experience managing a housing patch independently
* Comfortable carrying out home visits and estate inspections
* Resilient xsngvjr and confident handling challenging situations
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
