Role Details
* Location: Wrexham, UK
* Full-time, 37.5 hours a week
NEC manages the Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF) on behalf of the Welsh Government. The DAF team awards clients with cash, grants, and white goods to individuals experiencing financial hardship. Responsibilities include verifying and resolving grant applications, assisting customers via phone, online, and email.
Key Responsibilities
* Process emergency payments and grant applications
* Manage and process data efficiently
* Liaise with applicants to gather and verify information
* Understand legislation and criteria for grants
* Handle customer interactions professionally in English and Welsh
* Work towards team targets
* Respond to inquiries via various communication channels
* Support the delivery of the DAF contract
Qualifications
Conversational level Welsh language skills
