We are looking to recruit Apprentice Welder/Fabricators to join our team at our facility in Billington, Clitheroe, Lancashire starting September 2024. To work with one of the trained fabricator / welders on specific jobs for clients, learning to weld and fabricate steelwork to drawings as required. Make known any suggestions for improvement regarding any aspects of the workplace conditions (Health and Safety) to mentor. Be aware of the impact of ISO 9001 and BS1090 standards in terms of day-to-day working. Ensure that the work area is always kept clean and tidy. Carry out duties as requested by mentor. Remove waste materials to the relevant waste handling services. Ensure all tools and equipment are safe for use and stored responsibly. Apprentices are trained on all rules and procedures within the factory including all health and safety regulations. Be aware of the importance of wearing all necessary Personal Protective Equipment i.e. Steel toe capped boots, glasses & ear protection.
