Job summary
The Mental Health Administration Manager will oversee the operation and daily management of clerical and administrative services within the Mental Health Division, under the supervision of the Business Support Manager.
The role includes managing the WPAS/WCCIS Health Information Systems and providing statistical analyses for the Health Board and other agencies as needed.
The post holder will implement changes to optimize the management of the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Department.
Welsh language skills are desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
Main duties of the job
1. Assist with operational management of administrative, secretarial, and clerical staff within the division, working with the Business Support Managers.
2. Maintain effective communication with A&C staff across the Division, ensuring dissemination and implementation of necessary information.
3. Manage daily performance of A&C staff and introduce new workflows to support the Operational Management Team.
4. Produce routine and ad hoc reports to monitor quality indicators and support key objectives.
5. Lead specific Task Groups related to A&C issues to improve administrative processes.
6. Ensure optimal use of physical and financial resources by A&C staff within the Division.
