Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic Radiology Assistants to work within all modalities of Radiology assisting Radiographers, Nurses and Radiologists in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures and provide support to all health care professionals within the multi‑disciplinary team.
To assist in the care of patients undergoing CT procedures at Buckland with occasional rotation to William Harvey Radiology. Undertaking clinical procedures under supervision; contributing to patient care and safety whilst in the department.
A key element of the role is to provide administrative assistance to ensure effective work flow.
You will be required to work in all areas of the department.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
Working Hours
This post will include shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer‑facing roles.
Legal and Safety Requirements
Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Posts working regularly or unsupervised with children or vulnerable adults require an enhanced check.
