The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, wishing to specialise in Stroke & Neurological rehabilitation whilst supporting research. The fixed-term post holder will be aligned to the South Lanarkshire Stroke Neurological Rehabilitation Team and play a key part in aiming to increase access to evidence-based rehabilitation after stroke by providing input to people after hospital discharge in a Technology Enriched Rehabilitation Gym (TERG).

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Occupational / Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
2. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
4. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
5. Evidence of Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.
6. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
7. Excellent team-working/leadership skills and ability to motivate others
8. Demonstrate ability to use own initiative
9. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Effective time management skills
11. Working knowledge of basic information technology
12. Car driver with full valid UK driving licence

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Please note this is a fixed term post until 31st August 2027. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.

This role will be based in Stroke & Neurological Rehabilitation within The Beacons Blantyre
