Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients of all ages, with a focus on delivering person-centered care. Conduct clinical assessments, including vital signs checks, chronic disease management, wound care, and immunizations. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans and ensure seamless care coordination. Oversee and manage operational aspects of the practice, including HR functions, scheduling, and resource allocation. Take a proactive role in service development and improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Support health promotion and disease prevention activities, including health education programs for individuals and groups. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, and quality standards, maintaining compliance at all levels. Train, mentor, and support junior staff members and students as needed. Qualifications Essential : Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active and unrestricted practice license. Demonstrated experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar clinical setting. Proven ability to manage HR processes, operations, and service delivery within a healthcare context. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the flexibility to prioritize workloads effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues. Competence in using healthcare systems and electronic medical records (EMR). Desirable : Certification in chronic disease management, wound care, or any other relevant specialty. Experience leading quality improvement projects or service delivery programs. Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices within healthcare. Day-to-Day Start the day with a team briefing to discuss patients' needs, logistics, and priorities for the day. Conduct routine and urgent clinical consultations, including administering treatments, managing minor injuries, and monitoring chronic conditions. Oversee and manage the practice’s daily operational functions, including scheduling and equipment readiness. Liaise with doctors, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases, service improvements, and team updates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations. Engage in professional development activities, including attending training sessions, and keep up-to-date with clinical best practices.
