1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant – Full-Time
Location: South Shields
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
We’re seeking a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to support a pupil who benefits from consistent adult support throughout the school day.
You’ll help the pupil manage behaviour, engage with learning and develop positive routines in a structured, supportive environment.
Key duties:
• Providing 1:1 behavioural and learning support
• Helping the pupil regulate emotions
• Encouraging positive choices and engagement
• Supporting classroom activities
• Building trust through consistency and patience
This role suits someone resilient and emotionally aware.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
