We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser who thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen our Buying and Merchandising function and support the delivery of commercial targets across 7 retail stores and our e-commerce platform.
You will play a key role in supporting the Buying team by ensuring trade performance stays on track. This will involve analysing sales performance, managing stock cover and sell-through, and closely monitoring forecasting, intake, and replenishment. The position will also contribute to the seasonal buy plan and ongoing management of the open-to-buy budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse sales, stock, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
* Monitor stock cover, intake, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
* Support forecasting and trading decisions to maximise availability and minimise risk
* Assist with seasonal planning and contribute to the buy strategy
* Track and manage open-to-buy to ensure alignment with financial targets
* Ensure product is in the right place at the right time across all channels
* Work collaboratively with Buyers, the Merchandise Assistant, Retail Team Leaders, and Operations

Reporting to the Buying and Merchandising Manager, you will act as a key link between teams, ensuring efficient stock flow and supporting commercial decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to maximising sales, protecting margin, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
