We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a leading organisation in the shipping and maritime industry on a 15-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global environment where your HR expertise will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes, leavers.
* Prepare contracts, letters, and ensure compliance with right-to-work checks.
* Support HR Business Partners with employee relations cases (performance, sickness, disciplinaries, grievances).
* Handle family-friendly processes and liaise with payroll.
* Maintain accurate HR data and assist with reporting.

* Proven HR experience with strong employee relations knowledge.
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable.
