We're Hiring: Head of Compliance
Are you a senior compliance professional with a passion for consumer protection and regulatory excellence? An exciting opportunity has opened up with a leading motor insurance provider. We're looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to lead our clients regulatory strategy and ensure robust, customer-focused compliance across all operations.
About the Role
As Head of Compliance, you'll be at the forefront of regulatory engagement, risk management, and policy development. You'll act as the key point of contact with both Gibraltar and UK regulators, guiding the business through an evolving compliance landscape with a strong emphasis on Consumer Duty and the protection of retail customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regulatory compliance efforts across UK jurisdictions
Own the Consumer Duty strategy and embed it into business practices
Design and implement effective compliance policies and frameworks
Monitor compliance activity and report to senior stakeholders
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Deliver training and support to staff at all levels
Engage with stakeholders across the business and regulatory bodies
Advise executive leadership and the board on all compliance-related matters
Act as the Regulated Individual for compliance with the Gibraltar regulator
What We're Looking For
7+ years of compliance experience in the insurance sector (motor preferred)
In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory environments
Strong relationship with the Financial Services Commission
Expertise in Consumer Duty principles and their practical application
Outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic advisory skills
