We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team in Hartley. This is a full-time role, starting in September, where you will play a vital part in helping students achieve their full potential. About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, helping them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Your role will involve: Assisting with classroom activities and providing one-on-one support where needed Supporting students with their learning, communication, and emotional development Implementing individual learning plans and adapting resources to meet students’ needs Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students Key Requirements: Previous experience working with SEND students is essential A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support INDLON
