Main duties of the job
Employed by SCHT, the post holder will have opportunities to rotate across The Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICs. This includes Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH); Robert Jones Agnes Hunt (RJAH); Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (SCHT) and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). This will allow exposure to a variety of settings increasing your skills and knowledge base and support you to explore where your career might take you.
You must be able to meet the travel requirements of the job.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with HCPC.
* Evidence of clinical experience.
Experience
* A range of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist/ student including rehabilitation/ care of the elderly.
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary / multi-agency teams.
* Experience working with therapy assistants.
Knowledge and Skills
* Ongoing awareness of recent developments in practice and research including NSF's/NICE guidelines.
* Understanding of clinical governance and risk management and their implications for the service.
* Effective communication within the team.
Other
* Must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role.
