The Employer:
We are seeking to fill the role of a Disrepair Project Lead within a housing environment. Our client has an ambitious 5-year plan focused on creating a sustainable future for social housing by building new homes and investing in existing ones to foster vibrant, thriving communities.
The Role:
As a Disrepair Project Lead, you will be a key member of the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team, working alongside the Senior Surveyor to plan and deliver a range of complex projects. Your responsibilities include managing cases from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, timescales, and company policies.
* Line management of disrepair administration and scheduling within the team, ensuring KPI and SLA adherence.
* Act as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders regarding open disrepair cases and high-level complaints.
* Attend court proceedings and provide evidence related to disrepair cases.
* Compile and present monthly KPI reports for the leadership team.
* Lead performance and projects related to the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team as needed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records and participate in weekly review meetings.
* Assist in preparing inspection and housing condition reports in collaboration with the Senior Surveyor.
* Ensure timely management of contractor works, both in-house and quoted, from initiation to completion.
* Schedule and document pre- and post-inspections, including customer communications.

* Knowledge of legal disrepair processes and regulatory obligations.
* Understanding of damp, mould, and building defects with appropriate resolutions.
* Flexible, proactive approach to project delivery and change management.
* Self-motivated with strong communication, administration, and customer service skills.
* Team player with a positive attitude, respectful, and adaptable.
* Experience in managing and developing operational teams.
* Ability to improve processes to enhance customer and colleague experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in-house database systems.
* Alignment with clients’ values and behaviours.
Summary:
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours over 5 days. A satisfactory Basic DBS check is required.
