My Client now has an exciting opportunity for a BMS Engineer to join their team at a prestigious site. The role is working on a Monday to Friday basis – 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Monitor highly automated equipment, plant and HVAC.
* Perform PPM & reactive maintenance and provide support to the M&E maintenance team where required.
* Support the projects team in design, commissioning and installation projects.
* Respond to system monitoring alarms for mechanical and electrical systems (power distribution, control systems, voice/data, refrigeration, etc).

Essential Qualifications
* Experience in Building Controls environment.
* Background in Electrical Engineering.
* DDC/PLC controls to interrogation level.
* HVAC control and theory.
* Fault finding of panel wiring diagrams.
* Calibration of field equipment.
* Fault finding of software flow diagrams.
Desirable Qualifications
* Worked/trained in leading Building Management Controls (Siemens, Trend 963, Schneider, Johnsons, Sauter, ABB, CMR or Honeywell).
* Understanding of DDC/PLC controls to a programming level.
* Understanding of SCADA.
* Instrumentation and/or controls calibration.
* Fire alarm systems.
* CCTV systems.
* Security systems.
* Vacuum drainage systems.
* Design and set up of PPM regime.
* Quality assurance.
