This post is fixed term / secondment for 9 months due to meet the needs of the service.

An opportunity has arisen for a staff member to work in an integrated team closely with staff from other agencies to promote and maintain high standards of care for children and adolescents with learning disabilities / developmental delay and complex needs. The post holder will provide high-quality, evidence-based health services and be responsible for effective team development and management to achieve this.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include advising, providing direct guidance to staff on managing complex cases, delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical care, and ensuring appropriate allocation of referrals to clinical staff. The role involves conducting regular clinical and management supervision to ensure safe practice, engaging with PADR reviews, and ensuring the team delivers a quality service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Relevant professional qualification and active registration in health or social care.
* Continued professional and management development.
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
* Recognised management qualification (must be achieved within 1-2 years).
Desirable criteria
* Experience in mentoring, assessment, teaching.
* Eligibility to practice under the Mental Health Measure Wales 2010 (e.g., mental health nursing, social work, psychology).
Experience
Essential criteria
* Management experience at band 6 or above.
* Relevant clinical experience.
* Child Protection/Safeguarding training at level 3.
* Experience in service and policy development.
* Evidence of professional and personal development.
Desirable criteria
* Financial management skills.
* Experience with change management.
