We’re currently supporting a UK wide legacy infrastructure decommissioning programme for some of the UK largest telecoms providers and we are on the lookout for experienced Cabling Decommissioning Technicians to join the team!
This is a hands-on field-based role ideal for someone with strong technical skills and experience removing legacy coaxial infrastructure from headed and switch room environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Recovering and removing coaxial cabling from overhead trays and switch rooms
* Conducting basic signal testing to confirm circuit disconnection
* Working at height using ladders or platforms (safety-first approach)
* Labelling and documenting recovered cables and hardware
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in coax or telecom decommissioning
* Comfortable working at heights and in structured cabling environments
* Able to work independently and follow technical procedures
* Flexible and reliable with strong attention to detail
