Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Working Site Supervisor to work on clean water sites. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll play a vital part in helping deliver safe, clean drinking water. Travel and overnighters will be part of the job. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering works on clean water sites to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and assist with the preparation of sites, including unloading and suitable storage of building materials and plant
* Review, during site set up day, all documentation and ensure working methods have been agreed, are appropriate and safe
* Ensure the whole team has the correct personal protective equipment required for the project
* Report all defects in tools, plant, equipment and materials before start of project where possible
* Deliver Site Inductions, Tool box talks, safety bulletins, etc
* Cleaning and disinfection of small and large drained drinking water storage tanks, and other water storage systems such as emergency shower units
* Assist in inspecting and cleaning full water tanks using small robotic inspection vehicles
* Ensure all health and safety processes are followed and all equipment used is maintained and exceptionally clean
* CSCS Blue card or willingness to obtain
* SSSTS or willingness to obtain
* Experience of working on-site, in a supervisory capacity
* Ability to lead a small team, work alone and use initiative to solve problems and complete daily tasks
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision
* Ability to act on initiative, particularly regarding Health & Safety and to report relevant matters
* Willingness to travel and work away from home, as required
* Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and nights
* Willingness to travel UK-wide as part of the role and stay away

* £38,235 per annum plus overtime (double time on Saturdays and Sundays)
