Job Role: Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance Plumber)
Location: HMP Wandsworth (SW18)
Salary: £41,818.21 per annum + an additional 5% salary in recognition of shift and weekend working
Contract: Permanent, 39 hours per week
We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber to join our team at HMP Wandsworth, a category B adult male prison, as a Mechanical Engineer.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a Mechanical Engineer with:
1. Two years' experience as a plumber or equivalent
2. Knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements
3. Experience with commercial or industrial heating and water systems
4. Good health and safety knowledge
5. Plumber qualification to C&G 6035, C&G 6189, NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
6. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
