Richer Sounds are the UKs leading Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and TV specialists, and one of the largest Employee-Owned businesses in the UK.We are currently looking fora full timeRetail Sales Assistant to join the team in our Prestwich Store.
Experience in the AV industry is preferred but not essential.
Role Responsibilities
* Our Sales Advisors are predominately customer facing in-store but also speak to customers over the phone and via email. Successful candidates will provide legendary customer service by assisting with enquiries and purchases whilst building and maintaining relationships with customers and clients.
* After a probationary period, colleagues can offer Free On-Site Surveys where we visit customers in their homes, workplaces or other locations. These are opportunities to work on larger scale projects that may involve collaboration with multiple departments, third parties and the latest in-home automation technology.
* General upkeep of the store including maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming shopfloor as well as a well organised stockroom and office.
* Develop in-depth product knowledge to understand customers needs and how to answer any technical queries.
* Manage time efficiently to prioritise tasks and meet sales targets.
* This role will require you to manoeuvre stock, adjust displays may involve the use of stairs and heavy lifting.
* This role requires you to work 5 days per 7-day week including Saturday and Sunday.

* Successful candidates should demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for legendary customer service.
* A genuine interest in audio-visual technologies, and an active interest to learn about new technologies.
* Ability to utilise strong communication skills to tune into customers individual requirements; maximising sales opportunities and upselling techniques to increase sales revenue.
* Well-presented and approachable with a confident attitude and good attention to detail.
