What is on offer as a Disability Assessor?
- Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week)
- Blackpool based when working on-site

What does the Disability Assessor role involve?
The Functional Assessor role will involve carrying out three client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. The DWP make the final decision; your role is to gather information and produce the report.
What we look for
- An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with at least one year of broad post‑registration experience
- Someone who is proactive and keen to learn
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent IT and computer skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health

Pay: From £39,500 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
