SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Surbiton) Full-time | ASAP Start | £95–£114 per day Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm ANZUK Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Surbiton to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position, supporting a Year 3 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis, starting ASAP. The Role * Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Year 3 child with Autism * Support learning, engagement and emotional regulation throughout the school day * Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom * Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and wider support staff * Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment * Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday The Ideal Candidate * Experience supporting children with Autism or additional needs (school-based or personal experience welcome) * Calm, patient and empathetic nature * Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships * Passionate about supporting children with SEN and making a positive impact * Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What ANZUK Education Offers * Daily pay rate of £95–£114, depending on experience * Full-time role with consistent hours * Ongoing support from a dedicated ANZUK consultant * Opportunity to work within a supportive school and experienced SEN team If you are a committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role in a primary school setting, ANZUK Education would love to hear from you.
