About
My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Product Support Engineer with an Electronics bias, on a permanent basis, in the Birmingham area.
Attributes
* NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC/Degree qualified or similar in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
* Prior electronics sector experience is essential - be able to diagnose faults, work on component level and work with schematics
* Practical soldering skills and using hand tools
* Any software knowledge would be beneficial - KiCAD or similar PCB Design CAD
* Have excellent problem solving skills
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Be able to work well individually as well as a team
* Be proficient with using MS Office applications
Responsibilities
* Providing technical support to customers with regards to company products
* Being involved in product re-design when needed
* Helping with any technical issues that arise
