About the area
The Office of the Vice‑Chancellor (OVC) is a small, dynamic professional team that supports the Vice‑Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice‑Chancellor in leading and managing the University to achieve its mission. The Pro Vice‑Chancellor (Academic Advancement & Diversity) works closely with academic leaders and People & Culture to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, academic workforce planning, and career development strategies.

* Support academic workforce planning and career development across the University.
* Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to foster an inclusive and high‑performing academic community.
About you
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong knowledge and experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
* Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills across diverse stakeholders.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and digital tools to inform strategic decision‑making.
Special Requirements
* A current National Police Clearance Certificate.
