Job Summary We are seeking self-motivated and experienced fabricators & Welders to fabricate a range of pipe arrangements to support our team of skilled welders across several of our sites on dayshift in Scarva. As a fabricator and / or welder, the successful candidates will be required to be on site each day within the fabrication / welding facility in either Scarva 1 or Scarva 2, fabricating / welding pipe arrangements from our shop drawings. The ability to produce some or all types of welds, i.e., TIG / MIG would be required. We also offer the opportunity for the successful candidates to develop their skills to numerous welding disciplines and in house welding procedures. Salary : Competitive depending on experience Key Responsibilities To operate MIG/TIG or MMA welding equipment To read/interpret drawings. Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipe ranging from 65mm - 500mm) from shop drawings. Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling Clean tools, equipment, and work areas Maintain a safe working environment Any other duties deemed necessary by Management. Essential Criteria: Previous experience of operating as a Fabricator or Welder, that preferably includes pipe fabrication. The ability to interpret welding procedure requirements. Able to use Shop floor hand tools like Grinders, Hand Plasmas etc. Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings Desired Criteria: Previous experience as a pipe fabricator, producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with either TIG/MAG and able to use MMA. Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or stainless steel / carbon welding environment.
