The University of Manchester's Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) seeks an Insights Manager to deliver outstanding data and management information solutions to help us deliver on the Manchester 20235 strategy.
Overall Purpose of the Role
This is a key new post aimed at driving FSE's use of management information to enhance decision making and strategic prioritisation. You will lead on the development of management information products, deliver expert analysis and insight to Faculty stakeholders, and provide leadership to the FSE Management Information team. You will work with senior stakeholders across FSE to transform the way in which the Faculty uses data and insight to decide and deliver on its priorities and contribute to the institutional Manchester 2035 Strategy. You will also act as a key stakeholder for the development of the institutional data service, ensuring that developments are aligned to institutional priorities and can be deployed in other Faculties and business areas where relevant. We are looking for an experienced Management Information or Business Intelligence Analyst who has the ability to both develop data products and to use them in providing expert advice and insight to senior leaders.
