Job Description
3. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
4. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner.
5. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
6. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and reliability.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs conducted.
8. Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades.
9. Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and production loss.
10. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
11. Mechanical Bias with experience in Electrical
12. Relevant qualifications in engineering, such as NVQ, HND, or equivalent.
13. Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
14. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
15. Good understanding of health and safety standards in engineering environments.
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.
