Senior National Account Manager – Asda, Morrisons & Iceland
Hybrid – 2–3 days per month in-office
Up to £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance + benefits
We’re partnering with a growing FMCG business with a strong portfolio across World Foods and Mainstream, spanning sauces, seasonings and international cuisines (think Caribbean, South East Asian, Polish and more). This is a hands-on, commercially focused role managing Asda, Morrisons and Iceland, with real autonomy to shape the customer plan and drive sustainable growth.
The portfolio is established, but there’s plenty of headroom. The focus is on nurturing relationships, unlocking new opportunities, and delivering strong range and promotional execution, with a clear emphasis on protecting margin and driving profitable growth and driving through NPD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Asda, Morrisons & Iceland portfolios across World Foods and Mainstream, delivering turnover, profit and volume/distribution targets
* Generate profitable new business across existing and new categories, reviewing and negotiating trading terms within company objectives
* Deliver promotions within agreed budgets and schedules, optimising ROI
* Maintain accurate production forecasts, updating monthly and working closely with Supply Chain on service and availability
* Recommend strategic direction to the Retail Multiples Controller and ensure disciplined implementation
* Work alongside marketing/trade marketing to provide detailed category solutions and support range reviews
* Stay close to competitive activity, trade events and customer conferences as required
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum 4 years FMCG National Account experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Top 4 multiple(s)
* Strong commercial and numerical skills, confident balancing revenue growth with margin protection
* Comfortable multi-tasking across multiple buyers, categories and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
* Joint Business Planning experience and strong interpersonal skills
