We are looking for a Head Host for our wonderful Bothy. The Bothy is a space where we attempt to slow time. A space for restoration, reflection and personal time. As the leader of the team, you will endeavour to offer this opportunity to every visitor and in every interaction that takes place at the Bothy. To understand and share the slow time of Heckfield estate and weave the Bothy into its landscape, connecting all back to nature. The position will offer you an opportunity to work on a beautiful country estate and to lead an exceptional team which strive to deliver exceptional customer service to each other and guests. Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Maintain the highest standard of guest service by following the Bothy Protocols and displaying genuine care and attention to detail. To manage the smooth running of the daily operations focusing on the key areas of responsibilities, front of house, reservation, retail. Produce Host rota at least one months in advance and make the necessary adjustments in line with business needs, unexpected events by flexible scheduling Practice full responsibility of Bothy host staff coverage during spa operational hours by liaising with staff, supervisors and managers Ensure the team is fully trained in all aspects of the spa operating system and follow procedure according to the agreed sop’s Consistently record guest preferences accurately updating guest profiles and communicating any relevant information to colleagues. Excellent oral and written English communicational skills Previous customer service experience Good computer skills Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met and communicated Maintain a good knowledge of all aspects of Heckfield Place. Being a brand ambassador of Wildsmith, being aware of its products, philosophy and ensure product information conversation with guest in Bothy shop wasn’t missed after each visit.
