Salary: £29,000 per annum + monthly service charge | 42.5 hours per week + paid overtime

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join the brigade at a luxury 5 Red Star country house hotel and spa, home to 58 bedrooms, a luxury spa, and two acclaimed restaurants:
* 3 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant (38 covers)
* 2 AA Rosette brasserie-style restaurant (60 covers)
The pastry kitchen also produces elegant afternoon teas, desserts for lounge and room service, and creative menus for banqueting and private dining. This is an excellent opportunity for a pastry-focused chef to refine their skills in a supportive, professional, and highly regarded kitchen.

The Role
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will:
* Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and afternoon tea items to 2–3 Rosette standards
* Contribute to seasonal menu ideas for the fine dining restaurant, brasserie, lounge, and banqueting
* Maintain consistency, creativity, and attention to detail across all pastry output
* Support stock control, ordering, and supplier management
* Assist with training and guiding commis chefs in the pastry section
* Uphold food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP standards
* Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service

About You
* Previous experience in a quality kitchen environment, ideally at AA Rosette level or higher
* Strong pastry skills with the creativity to contribute to fine dining menus
* Organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple outlets at once
* A team player with excellent communication skills
* Local to the area or able to relocate with your own transport
