The Trust is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Estates Maintenance Team at our Rotherham, Doncaster, and South Humber sites. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering comprehensive maintenance and installation services across the Trust's estate. The position offers a band 5 salary, plus overtime, on-call allowance, and call-out payments.

Your responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, or installing plant, equipment, systems, and building structures associated with all Trust properties. This involves planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), testing, calibration, fault finding, emergency response, defect correction, and minor works.
You will work according to your core skills in building and engineering plant and equipment maintenance. Training will be provided to develop additional skills towards multi-trade flexibility and competence. You will undertake some Competent Person duties, participate in the craftspersons on-call rota, and work closely with Senior Technicians to improve planned maintenance.
Applicants must hold NVQ Level 3 qualifications and have completed an accredited apprenticeship. You will perform maintenance and installation across Trust properties, collaborating with specialist contractors and engineers on various systems. Our goal is to provide safe, compliant, and pleasant environments for patients and staff, working closely with clinical, nursing, medical, and corporate teams to support their work.
