About the role
This role sits within a major Overhead Line (OHL) project in the Central Belt, between Falkirk and Glasgow, and we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team. You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, drive safe and efficient project execution, and support the successful delivery of critical transmission infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
* Plan, manage and deliver projects to programme, cost and quality requirements.
* Hold overall accountability for planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and close‑out.
* Provide strong leadership to support multi-disciplinary teams and ensure high performance.
* Manage clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners effectively.
* Deliver projects to agreed budgets and timelines, aligned to scope and complexity.
* Line‑manage Construction Managers, Engineers, Site Managers and functional leads.
* Lead project reviews, maintain Digital Briefcase content and ensure accurate records.
* Prepare internal and external reports to support decision‑making.
* Critically review and interrogate designs to ensure deliverability.
* Maintain a strong focus on Zero Harm, lead incident investigations and review RAMS.
* Allocate resources effectively and support mentoring and team development.
* Build, motivate and develop high‑performing project teams.
* Own the risk register, lead reviews and escalate issues as needed.
* Manage subcontractor performance and procurement planning.
* Ensure delivery meets handover standards, certification requirements and KPIs.

* An experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Overhead Line (OHL) projects, ideally within power transmission or distribution.
* A leader who has led multi‑disciplinary teams on complex, high‑risk infrastructure works and understands the challenges of OHL delivery.
