Support Worker
Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £16 per hour, Time and a half on bank holidays

On behalf of their client, the company is recruiting a Support Worker to provide supplementary daytime support to a 32-year-old man with an acquired brain injury currently living in a Nursing Home in Romsey.
Following his brain injury, his limitations are cognitive and physical. He enjoys social interaction and has a great sense of humour.
The Role
1. Facilitating their client to engage in a range of social activities by assisting him to access the community, either in his wheelchair or by driving him in his wheelchair accessible vehicle to events such as musical performances, visiting cafes, shopping, meeting friends or family, going for walks etc.
2. Driving him to a local day centre twice a week and supporting him with engaging with the day-centre activities.
