Overview
Area: Telford. Job type: Permanent. Salary: £35,000 + Car + Bonus (£50k OTE Achievable). Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Reference: DE26691. Date added: Friday, 26th Sep 2025.
Responsibilities
* Manage inbound enquiries, assess conversion potential, and prepare tailored proposals.
* Represent the business at networking events, exhibitions, and through a strong professional social media presence.
* Conduct competitor research and maintain up-to-date market awareness.
* Undertake off-site business development through client visits, calls, and new introductions.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure renewals and repeat business.
* Manage contracts and ensure smooth handovers to operational teams.
* Use CRM and sales systems effectively to track performance, enquiries, and forecasts.
* Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and presentations.
* Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet client and business needs.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience, ideally B2B.
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of profit as well as turnover.
* Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
* Highly motivated, energetic, and resilient with a positive, target-driven mindset.
* Team player who thrives in a collaborative sales environment.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation ability.
* Confident with IT systems, including Word, Excel, email, and databases.
* Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for nationwide travel is a requirement for this role.
