Overview
Aegir School is part of the INSPIRE Connected Communities Trust providing specialist education for learners from the ages of 11 to post 16 years. Position
Teacher – Main Pay Scale + SEN allowance, Full Time
Responsibilities
* Teach pupils with a wide range of additional needs to enable all pupils and students to flourish.
* Be an outstanding, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join a dynamic team committed to enhancing the learning and progress of all pupils/students in their care.
* Articulate and share a vision of SEN education with all stakeholders.
* Have knowledge of what constitutes quality in educational provision, the characteristics of effective schools and strategies for promoting progress, raising standards and the achievement of all learners.
* Have experience of working with pupils/students with SEND and have a secure understanding of the requirements of the Primary and/or Secondary Curriculum & SEND.
* To liaise, plan and deliver a multi-sensory curriculum alongside other members of the staff team.
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (ITT completed).
